Children’s Book Teaches About Immigration Using Testimonies of Detained Youth

Leading immigration attorney Warren Binford has released a new book intended to teach children about the challenges faced by migrants crossing the U.S southern border. The book, titled Hear My Voice, contains snippets of actual testimony that Binford collected from children held in government detention facilities. While the children’s stories are harrowing, Binford created the book to explain the reality of migrant life in a way that is accessible for young people, she told NPR. Read more
