Khadija Fredericks is Head of School at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in California. Khadija brings 23 years as a teacher and administrator to Saint Andrew’s. She has served since 2013 as the Director of Lower School at St. Paul’s Episcopal School, a well regarded independent school in Oakland. She also worked as the Director of Admissions/Enrollment Management at St. Paul’s from 2006-2013 and as a first-grader teacher from 2001-2006. Prior to her arrival at St. Paul’s, Khadija taught kindergarten at The Harker School in San Jose from 1998-2001.
Khadija holds a Master’s degree in elementary education from Columbia University and earned her bachelor’s degree at San Francisco State University. She has also participated in the NAIS Fellowship for Aspiring Heads program and served as an Accreditation Team Member for the California Association of Independent Schools. She and her husband, David, have two children who will be sophomores in college.
