Researchers Use Independent Schools as Models for Reopening

A new study on methods for safely reopening K-12 institutions highlights two independent schools for their ability to operate successfully amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers who conducted the study, which was recently published in The Journal of School Health, determined that robust universal testing and other measures can make it possible for schools to safely remain open even if coronavirus cases are on the rise in their surrounding communities.
